Español — Connectors that order ideas
Ordering connectors organize what you say into steps. Words like primero, luego, después, además, por último and finalmente mark the sequence of ideas and make a text easier to follow.

How it works
✓ Rule
Put the connector at the start of the sentence or clause, usually followed by a comma: Primero, lee las instrucciones. Luego, escribe tu nombre. Después, envía el formulario. Use por un lado … por otro lado to contrast two sides, and por último or finalmente to close.

⚠ Note
entonces mainly means 'then / so' as a consequence, not just 'the next step', so don't use it as a plain sequencer. And por último and finalmente both close a list, but finalmente often marks the final result, not only the last item.
