Deutsch — Future perfect (Futur II)
The Futur II describes an action that will be completed by a point in the future, and it also expresses an assumption about something that has probably already happened: Er wird angekommen sein.
1
How it works
✓ Rule
The Futur II is formed with conjugated werden + Partizip II + the infinitive haben or sein at the end: Ich werde die Arbeit beendet haben. Verbs of motion or change of state take sein: Er wird nach Hause gegangen sein.

Good to know
⚠ Note
In everyday speech the Futur II is rare; the Perfekt with schon/wohl usually replaces it (Er ist wohl angekommen instead of Er wird angekommen sein). Adding wohl, sicher or bestimmt makes the assumption meaning explicit: Sie wird es wohl vergessen haben.
