Italiano — the pronoun ne
The pronoun ne means "of it / of them": it replaces di + noun or an expression of quantity, and stands before the verb.

How it works

Use ne to replace a quantity or di + something. It goes before the verb: Quanti libri hai? — Ne ho tre. Vuoi del caffè? — Sì, ne voglio. Parli di politica? — Ne parlo spesso.

Good to know
⚠ Note
In the passato prossimo the participle agrees with the quantity ne stands for: Ho comprato due libri → Ne ho comprati due. Ne also attaches to infinitives and imperatives: parlarne, dammene.
