Auxiliary: haber

Regular in the present and future but strongly irregular in the preterite, which uses the stem 'anduv-' (anduve, anduviste...). The imperfect subjunctive is built on the same stem. Beyond 'to walk', 'andar' often means 'to go about / to be' (¿cómo andas? = how are you doing?).

Ando dos kilómetros hasta el trabajo.
