gefallen
to please / to be liked
Auxiliary: haben
'gefallen' is a strong verb with an a→ä stem change; the inseparable ge- prefix means the participle stays 'gefallen' (no extra ge-). It governs the dative (etwas gefällt jemandem) and its participle has no umlaut.
