Auxiliary: haber

Highly irregular: note 'oigo', the y in 'oyes/oye/oyen' and 'oyó/oyeron', and the accented 'oído'. 'Oír' is to hear (perceive sound); 'escuchar' is to listen (pay attention).

No oigo bien, habla más alto.

I can't hear well, speak louder.
