Auxiliary: avere / essere

'passare' is a regular first-conjugation (-are) verb. As a transitive verb (to pass, to spend time) it takes 'avere'; when intransitive (to go past, to drop by) it takes 'essere'. The tables below use 'avere'.

Passo le vacanze al mare.
