Auxiliary: avoir
'rappeler' is a first-group -eler verb that doubles the l before a silent e (je rappelle) but keeps a single l when the ending is pronounced (nous rappelons); the future and conditional keep the double l throughout. Reflexive 'se rappeler' means 'to remember'.
