Refund Policy of Carrotta

Refund Policy of Carrotta

Last updated: 15.07.2026

§ 1. General Information

  1. This Refund Policy describes the rules for cancelling subscriptions and obtaining refunds for paid services purchased in the Carrotta service (carrotta.net), operated by Michał Woźniak conducting business under the name HEXGRID Michał Woźniak (ul. Bagienna 36C, 70-772 Szczecin, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 9552112428). Contact: hello@carrotta.net.
  2. Payments in the Service are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), acting as the reseller and Merchant of Record.
  3. This Policy supplements, and does not limit, the rights of Consumers and Entrepreneurs with Consumer Rights arising from generally applicable law and from the Terms of Service (in particular §9 — Right of Withdrawal and §11 — Complaints).

§ 2. Subscriptions and Cancellation

  1. A subscription may be cancelled at any time from the Account panel (subscription settings), without giving any reason and without additional fees.
  2. Cancellation stops the automatic renewal of the subscription. The User retains full access to paid Services until the end of the current, already-paid Subscription Period.
  3. Fees for a Subscription Period that has already started are not refunded on a pro-rata basis, except in the situations described in §3 (right of withdrawal), §7 (defective services), or where required by applicable law.
  4. After cancellation, no further charges will be made to the User's payment method.

§ 3. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

  1. A Consumer or an Entrepreneur with Consumer Rights may withdraw from a distance agreement within 14 days of its conclusion (i.e., of the purchase) without giving any reason.
  2. For digital services and digital content, the right of withdrawal expires if the Service Provider has fully performed the service with the express and prior consent of the Consumer, who was informed before the start of the performance that they would lose the right of withdrawal after its completion, and acknowledged this (Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
  3. If withdrawal is effective, all payments received will be refunded without undue delay, no later than within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal statement, using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise. No fees are charged for the refund.
  4. The refund amount may be reduced by the value of services actually performed up to the moment of withdrawal — e.g., the value of Tokens already used, at the prices from the Price List in effect on the date of purchase.

§ 4. Token Packages

  1. One-time Token packages are subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal described in §3.
  2. If some Tokens from the package have been used, the refund is reduced proportionally by the value of the Tokens used.
  3. Tokens granted free of charge (e.g., welcome Tokens) are not subject to refunds and cannot be exchanged for cash.

§ 5. Purchases Processed by Paddle

  1. For purchases made through the Paddle checkout, Paddle.com Market Limited is the Merchant of Record — the receipt or invoice for the transaction is issued by Paddle.
  2. Refunds for these purchases are processed by Paddle to the original payment method. A refund request may be submitted either to us at hello@carrotta.net or directly through Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net.
  3. Processing times of the refunded amount depend on the payment method and the card issuer or bank (typically 5–10 business days).

§ 6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Send a message to hello@carrotta.net stating: (a) the email address assigned to your Account, (b) the date of purchase and, if possible, the order/receipt number, (c) the reason for the request (optional in the case of statutory withdrawal).
  2. A withdrawal statement may also be submitted in writing to: HEXGRID Michał Woźniak, ul. Bagienna 36c, 70-772 Szczecin, Poland.
  3. We respond to refund requests without undue delay, no later than within 14 days of receipt.

§ 7. Defective Services and Complaints

  1. If a paid Service does not conform with the agreement (e.g., a purchased functionality does not work), the Consumer has the rights provided for in Chapter 5b of the Polish Consumer Rights Act — including the right to demand that the Service be brought into conformity, and if that is not possible or ineffective — the right to a price reduction or withdrawal from the agreement with a refund.
  2. Complaints are handled in accordance with §11 of the Terms of Service. Complaints may be submitted to: hello@carrotta.net.
  3. This Policy does not exclude or limit any consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
